The successful candidate will report to the Loan Recovery Manager.
He/she will be responsible for assisting management of nonperforming
and written off loans to maximize recovery and minimize
recovery costs in the bank.

Key Responsibilities
Initiate, study and report on potential opportunities for improving•
the Bank’s loan portfolio;
Assist in undertaking recovery actions timely and in a cost effective•
manner;
Assist in carrying out continuous and on demand loan recovery•
activities in the bank;
Initiate efforts for recovering overdue loans to the bank’s clients;•
Negotiate with defaulters on repayment plans;•
Assist in dealing with routine correspondence with regard to loan•
collection or recovery issues;
Liaise with stakeholders for inputs on performance of loan•
recovery and related policies, processes and procedures and
submit the same for supervisor’s review and action;
Take lead in ensuring all records pertaining to loan recovery are•
well kept and maintained;
Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to•
time.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
University Degree in Economics, Business Administration,•
Agricultural Economics, Finance, Accounts, Banking or related
discipline;
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in credit assessment and/or•
relationship banking at Officer level;
Strong computer based analytic skills.•
Strong written and communication skills with ability to write•
reports in a concise and focused style;
Good communication and interpersonal skills;•
