Key Responsibilities
• Reports to the Deputy Principal for Finance and Administration
• Management of the finance department consisting of 4 people and dealing with finance, strudent loans and procurement.
• In charge of the preparation of the periodic and year end reporting and actual budgets.
• In charge of the preparation of the year End financial statements according to local accounting principles.
• Provide assistance to external auditors.
• In charge of the implementation of external audit recommendations related to the finance department.
• Provide input into the maintenance and development of the MIS reporting system.
• Responsible for the chart of accounts.
• Oversee the asset register and periodical reconciliation with the accounting system.
• Oversee compliance of the college with tax legislation.
• Supervise staff and other functions in the Departiment and take corrective action in accordance with the rules and regulations or JUCO.
• Perform any other functions as may from time to time be assigned to him or her by the deputy principal for finance and administration.

Qualifications Skills and Experience
• Bachelor`s Degree from a top academic institution with top marks or equivalent.
• Ideally, holder of a certified public accountant (CPA) professional qualification and registered with NBAA as a certified public Accountant or certified public accountat in public practice.
• Proven five year`s work experience3 and capability in finance, accountancy, and management in similar position in comparable institution/organization.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, word, powerpoint)
• Accuracy ahnd ability to work independently, proactively and in a well-organized manner.
• Very competent with technology platforms and quick to pick up new systems.
• Managerial skills.
• Sympathetic to the values of the salvatorians and to the social teachings of the Catholic Church.

Salary: Commensurat with experience
