Senior Planning And Monitoring Engineer – Dar es salaam – Roads Fund Board

The Roads Fund Board is a Government Institution under the Ministry of Works established by the Roads and Fuel Tolls Act, CAP 220 of 2006. The Board wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the position of Senior Planning and Monitoring Engineer.
I. Main Duties and ‘Responsibilities
a) To facilitate the preparation of performance agreements between the Road Fund Board and implementing Agencies;
b) To review progress reports from implementing Agencies and assess their compliance with performance agreements;
c) To conduct monitoring of the implementation of road works by the Agencies/Local Authorities;
d) To facilitate the preparation and implementation of strategic plan; _
e) To review annual programmes/budget and action plan of implementing Agencies and advice accordingly;
f) To facilitate the preparation of annual, quarterly and monthly reports of Roads Fund Board;
g) Perform such other related duties as may be assigned,

II. Qualifications and Experience
Holder of Master Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from recognized Institutions. He/she must be registered – as a Professional Engineer, with relevant working experience of at least six (6) years in a reputable Institution.
Experience in the road sector and in risk analysis and management will be also an added advantage.
III. Personal Attributes
He/she should be able to work diligently long after office hours, promote team work, to comprehend and communicate effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
