Duties and responsibilities
• Managing PCT Field Operation Department:
• Farmer Extension Services, inclusive of: Promoting Quality Pyrethrum production
• Educating Farmers in best Pyrethrum production methods and practices
• Economic Benefits to improved farming methods and improved yields/production.
• “How to triple or quadruple production from the same acres in just 2 years.”
• Economic benefits to timely crop management: weeding, harvest, drying, storage
• Managing Farming Monitoring programs, Data collection and Reporting.
• Agronomic studies on pyrethrum production, for continued production improvement.
• Plant & Seed development:
• Coordinating Pyrethrum seed multiplication & distribution with proper growing information.
• Breeding studies development and management.

Requirements
• Advanced or Graduate degree in Agronomy or Agriculture from recognized University,
• 3- 5 years practical field or research experience
• Knowledge of use of modern technologies in agriculture etc
• Good research skills, paying attention to details
• Good report writing, communication & interpersonal skills
• Good computer knowledge: Excel and Word
• Good command in both spoken and written English, Kiswahili
• Able to work as a team outdoors for long hours, results oriented
