Gender Officer – Dar es Salaam – Jhpiego Tanzania

This position will partly support MCSP focuses mainly on respectful gender-sensitive quality
MNCAH service provision and MBM-RTZ focusing mainly on gender transformation of midwifery tutors, preceptors and mentors through training and mentorships.

Required Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in social science or community development or public health. ‘Master’s degree in Public Health will be an added value.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in developing, providing technical assistance to, coordinating and managing RMNH programs.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-discipline team-based organizational structure
• Strong decision making skills and results oriented approach
• Excellent written and spoken Swahili and English. Presentation, communication and organizational skills.
• Strong skills in word processing and Excel spread sheet
• Ability to travel up to 40% time
• Understanding USAID programs is desirable
• Understanding of RMNCH service deliveries and management is preferred.
