Records Management Assistant II – Dar es salaam – Tanzania Commission For Universities

Duty Station: Dar es Salaam
Report to: Human Resource Officer

Main Duties and Responsibilities
a) Receives all incoming mails and enters them in the relevant registers;
b) Files correspondence in appropriate files and cross referencing;
c) Receives and distributes official publications according to standing instructions;
d) Opens registered letters;
e) Distributes subject files and flimsy to scheduled officers;
f) Dispatches mails for review;
g) Maintain postage stamp register;
h) Performs any other duties assigned by Senior Staff.

Academic Qualifications
Holders of Certificate of Secondary School Education or Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education who have passed the Diploma in Records Management from any
recognized Institution, with not less than three years experience in areas of Records Management. Computer skills are essential.

In addition to the above skills and qualifications applicants for the above position are’ required to have the following attributes:
a) A very high level of integrity, honesty and sense of responsibility;
b) Ability to work in a dynamic team;
c) Ability to produce expected results;
d) Ability to self manage and meet deadlines;
e) Willingness to work beyond the call of duty;
f) Computer literacy;
g) Must not be above 35 years of age.

Remuneration
Successful candidate will be paid according to Tanzania Commission for Universities salary scale.
