Mer Administrative Assistant – Dar es salaam – Jhpiego

Overview:
The MER Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative and coordination support to-the MER unit in the country office to ensure smooth implementation and achievement of the unit’s work plans. The MER Admin Assistant will be the link between the MER unit and the Finance and Administration unit. S/he will perform the following duties among others:

Preferred Qualifications:
• First Degree or equivalent (e.g. Post-secondary education with national diploma) in Administration
• At least 2 years experience in providing support for M &E related program activities, including data entry, administration and office management with an international organization
• Demonstrated self-management (i.e. motivation, dealing with pressure, adaptability)
• Proficiency in a broad variety of administrative, financial, and computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and other Microsoft office applications
• Good organizational and people management skills
• Highly developed communication and presentation skills
• Good working knowledge of English in writing and speaking.
• Documentation and writing skills
• Ability to type very fast
• Ability to work under deadlines and long hours when needed.
• Knowledge of general office practices and administrative procedures.
• Knowledge of budget preparation and monitoring.

Tanzanian nationals who have previous experience working with an international organization are preferred.
