Chief of Party – Dar es salaam – RTI

RTI is currently secking expressions of interest from qualified Chief of Party candidates and technical specialists for an anticipated upcoming US government-funded program in Tanzania. Preferred candidates will gave specific experience in youth-focused programming in the areas of agriculture, workforce development, or entemprise development in Tanzania.

We are currently accepting CV/resumes for the following positions:

Chief of Party: the Chief of Party should have a blend of senior management and technical expertise to effectively lead and manage programs in the sector of agriculture and economic development, inclusive of women and youth. Preferred candidates will have specific experience in youth –focused programming, entrepreneurship and workforce development.

Qualifications:
• Master level degree in relevant field and at least 10 years of experience in agriculture or youth-focused entrepreneurship programs.
• 2-5 years of experience managing USG-funded programs (particularly USAID) in either a Chief of party or Deputy Chief of Party capacity.
• Experience developing effective and sustained private sector partnerships.
• Prior experience working in East Africa, Demonstrated technical expertise in agriculture and youth entrepreneurship Reputation for professional excellence (es evidenced by references and achievements).
• Demonstrated senior manage with strong knowledge of USG (particularly USAID) rules and regulations and effective cross-cultural interpersonal skills.
• Ability to resolve sensitive and complicated work issues with country contry counterparts, donor representatives, and senior-level staff Language ability: Oral and written fluency in English Kiswahili fluency preferred.
