RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Develop and maintain a core database and associated data entry and analysis applications
ii. Design implement and maintain a database management systems using SQL SAS and Microsoft Access
iii. Providing technical support to staff based on CTC database
iv. Train staff on the current software applications and data related issues
v. Develop and maintain software applications using visual basic
vi. Work programming team including setting written standards and documented monitoring of work
vii. Support the development of supportive supervision and data auditing guidelines for all the data recording and reporting systems supported by MDH
viii. Timely productions of all relevant reports
ix. Coordinate appropriate documentations of all activities performed in the data
x. Attend all other duties as assigned by the senior data manager

QUALIFICATIONS
· A minimum 1st Degree in computer science health informatics database development or management of data systems is a required
· Additional training in statistics or public health will be added advantage
· Minimum of 5 years experienced in working at management level position for data systems especially in HIV care and treatment
· Demonstrated data analysis and report writing skills using
· Experienced using the government CTC2 database or equivalent
· Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Kiswahili
· Ability to work both individually and as part of a team with minimal supervision
