Reporting Line: Chief Geologist
Work Station: Biharamulo Mine Site
Contract Duration: 2 years

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Monitoring and directing mine geological operations with regard to ore control and grade issues .
• Perform accurate geological mapping and sampling of the existing mine pits development “.
• Geotechnical mappinq of mine pits development
• Execute and monitor grade control programmes
• Tricking of ore production and movements from mine to mill
Professional Qualifications and Experience
• Holder of a BSc in Geology,
• Four years’ experience as a Geologist, working in an exploration, open pit mining and gold processing environment
• Very Good Computer skills in the following packages :-

Vulcan, Datamine, and/or other geological resource estimation and Mine
Planning Software Package.
MS Office software package, (Excel, Access, Word).
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Solid understanding of all aspects of the mine geology function, grade control mapping and sampling and QA/QC
• Self-starter, able to work and plan daily tasks with minimal supervision.
• Enthusiastic and professional work attitude.
• Clear and effective communication skills
