Planing Manager – Dar es salaam – Petroleum Importation Coordinator Limited

Job Profile
• To prepare annual projection of importation of petroleum products,
• To establish annual tendering calendar,
• To prepare periodic petroleum products tender documents as guided by the Petroleum (Bulk Procurement) Regulations, 2013,
• To prepare BPS (Bulk Procurement System) Tender Board papers,
• To timely liaise with pre-qualified on the availability of BPS Tender documents,
• To liaise with TPA and Shipping Agent on berthing schedule of vessels including non-BPS vessels;,
• To prepare petroleum products allocation for each tender and communicate to all receivers and respective supplier,
• To liaise with EWURA on input data for pricing of imported petroleum products,
• To collect and compile weekly report on stock levels of petroleum products from OMCs,
• To manage relationships with OMCs with regard to their requirements,
• To consolidate Outturn Reports for discharged quantities in
MT and liters per OMC per product and per category (local or Transit),
• To monitor and prepare reports on BPS Tender performance,
• To prepare monthly and quarterly reports in relation to planned and actual importation of petroleum products,
• To prepare Company’s annual report as well as departmental annual plan and budget,
• To advice the General Manager on petroleum products stocks and any issue related to OMCs’ orders, product allocation and vessels scheduling,
• To oversee the planning department,
• To carry out all other responsibilities as shall be assigned and guided by the General Manager

Personal Profile
• A Minimum of university degree or equivalent professional training level in economics, engineering, management, statistics, procurement, planning or related fields,
• At least three (3) years’ experience in planning, stock management or any related fields,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Office applications;
• Multi-tasking, resourceful and proactive with sense of urgency;
• Willing to work long hours;
• Independent with good analytical skills and able to work under pressure;
• Experience in working with Oil Marketing company will be an added advantage
