Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• To advise the Mine General Manager and other Superior Staff with the analysis of information and in providing recommendations to Junior Procurement Officers, departmental senior, managers and Senior Officers regarding the awarding of tenders, contracts etc. ,,”
• To assist in the preparation of tender documents to ensure the production n of realistic and commercial tenders. .., ,
• To assist in developing and encouraging alternative procurement and partnership arrangements which are consistent with the Company’s corporate aims and Best Value service delivery.
• To advise the Company, in liaison with the Supervisor on price, products, and market trends and on matters concerning legislation, environmental and best procurement practice.
• To review policies and procedures relating to the Posts responsibilities and-make recommendations to Junior Procurement Officers as required and implement changes resulting from new and revised policies and legislation
Professional Qualifications and Experience
• Holder of a Bachelor of Procurement or its equivalent
• Fully registered by board as Certified Procurement and Supplies

Professional (CPSP).
• Minimum of 6 years experience in the same field and should possess a

Procurement practicing License from PSPTB
• Computer literacy is essential
• Ability to communicate in English and Swahili with excellent writing skills
• Ability to supervise and direct junior staff
