Rmnch Quality Manager – Dar es salaam – Pharmaccess Foundation

Specific Responsibilities
• Carry out assessments of quality and scope of RMNCH services based on the Safe Care standards for facilities that are enrolled in the HDIF-funded program.
• Review and analyze RMNCH data collected as part of the program; make recommendations on how to effectively improve the demand for RMNCH services and how to improve the quality of the provided services.
• Carry out on the job training and mentoring for staff in facilities enrolled in the RMNCH program and also carry out clinical audits at the health facilities.
• Collect best practices in RMNCH services in the region, and coordinate the establishment peer-to-peer learning system through centers of Excellence
• Monitor the RMNCH program activities in the field through field visits to the regions in which the program is operational.
• Work with partners to develop a network of community Health Workers and link their services to facilities in our network or other facilities in the geographical location.

Required Qualification, Knowledge and Skills
• Degree in medical field preferably in Midwifery or Nursing. Public health training will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years (field) experience working in a NGO environment in a Reproductive Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (RMNCH) program.
• Experience and extensive knowledge of the Health system in the country including the private sector.
• Demonstrated skills on the concepts of quality improvement approaches in health care.
• Computer literacy including use of Microsoft office suite, databases and web applications.
• Capable of interacting professionally and constructively with different levels of the health system from national to facility level.
• Excellent interpersonal and team building skills, ability to work effectively with different levels of professional cadres.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
• Self driven, initiative taking professionalism is an asset for this position.
• Ability and willingness to travel covering all regions of Tanzania.
